How do I prepare for my hair appointment?
Wash your hair 1-2 days before your appointment and come prepared with inspirational hair images for your stylist.
How do I prevent hair loss?
Wash your hair regularly: A consistent routine will get rid of dirt, debris and skin build-up on the scalp. Washing your hair using nutrient-rich products elevates hair health and maintains your scalp pH.
Reduce heat: Regular use of heat tools damages your hair’s natural keratin proteins, causing hair cuticles to crack and can lead to it becoming brittle and weak. Opting for heatless styling alternatives is a great option to protect your hair.
Invest in quality products: Use quality products. Salon-quality products are better for your hair, skin and scalp and don’t contain harsh chemicals. While cheaper products will save you more short term, your hair health will deteriorate over time.
What are the best products for dry hair?
We recommend Keune’s care curl control mask, which deeply moisturise cuticles while adding shine & softness. It is formulated with five naturally sourced minerals that work together to nourish the scalp.

What’s the difference between balayage and toner?
Balayage is a freehand technique to create a graduated, blended effect. The regrowth lines are also softer, and it lasts for 3-4 months.
Toner freshens up the hair with a simple tone and depth. It is a relatively quick and easy process to add shine and colour, and it lasts up to 8 weeks.
Are there any tips for keeping your blonder hair bright?
Minimal heat, use blonde shampoo, avoid chlorine, weekly treatments, use heat protectant, rinse hair with cold water.
How long should I wait before washing my hair after my hair appointment?
You should aim to wait 72+ hours before washing your hair after your hair appointment to increase the longevity of your colour, as it allows the pigments to seep into hair fibres.
How often should I wash my hair?
Generally, if your hair isn’t greasy or dry, you should wash it every two to three days. However, if you wash hair too often for your hair type, it could be very drying, depending on the ingredients in the shampoo.
How do I keep my hair from going brassy?
It’s as easy as swapping in purple shampoo for your regular shampoo every couple of weeks and letting it sit in your hair for 3-5 minutes before rinsing. In between purple shampoos, make sure you’re using a shampoo for colour-treated hair to preserve your colour too.
